I like fail blog.
I think it’s funny to see people fall….when there are no serious injuries involved.
I also like mondays.
And I hope you’re having a good one.

-still working hard on the Christmas album. I think we may have some exciting news to share about said record very, very soon. I promise the news will be worthy of all this hype.
-reading 3 books. None of them are that fantastic, so when one gets boring I just rotate to the next. Danielle and I are going to the beach next week though and I already have my book picked out for the week…The Unlikely Disciple…it’s a book written by a Brown student who went “undercover” at Liberty University for a semester….
-Thinking about working out more. Actually I joined a gym today. $10 a month seemed like a pretty good deal. So I should probably do more than just think about working out.
-Bummed that we don’t get PBS on our TV, because there’s a Philip Glass documentary being shown right this very minute.
-Enjoying Jeremy Larson’s new album Salvation Club. Go check out his stuff.
Have a great Easter weekend… as my two-year-old says – He is risen “in the deed”

This past Friday night the College Ministry at Providence put on an art show/concert.
We brought Brooks Ritter in for the concert portion of the night. I really like Brooks’ music before I heard him live….but I think I”m now borderline obsessed with the guy. He’s a great songwriter…his voice is really bluesy/rootsy…and he’s one of the nicest guy’s I’ve ever met.
I’ll get some of my pictures up from the night very soon. But until then, please enjoy his song The Horse Fell Lame.
Happy Monday.
Oh and go check out his myspace.

In the meantime, here’s a video of my daughter Eden stealing her cousin Will’s paci.

Mike, Patrick, James, Ben and I are all heading up to The Cove today to lead music for Providence’s Men’s Retreat this morning.
We’ve been looking forward to this weekend for a while now….it’s so beautiful up there.
We’ll lead music at 6 or 7 sessions this weekend…so there’s a ton to do. I’m also going to play the Christmas songs that I’ve finished/or am working on for them….let’s hope they like them.
Oh and, we’re going to try and get some live video up during the weekend….so check back on Friday and Saturday for that.

“The first demand any work of any art makes upon us is surrender. Look. Listen. Receive. Get yourself out of the way.” – C.S. Lewis
